About Chimu Chimu
『ちむ』とは、沖縄の方言で『心』。
「新しい自分に出逢う」をコンセプトに、身につけると凛と背筋が伸びるような、
非現実の世界へと導く作品を、心を込めて、ひとつひとつ丁寧に、日々ちまちま、ちむちむ。
ネイティブアメリカンの伝統的なお守り「ドリームキャッチャー」からインスピレーションを受けた「ドリームサンキャッチャー」や、「ドリームサンキャッチャーピアス」をオリジナルで作っています。
また、西アフリカのギニア共和国に魅せられ、度々現地を訪れ、現地で使われている布を作品作りに取り入れています。

"Chimu" means "heart" in Okinawan dialect of the south most in Japan.
The concept of the brand is "encountering brand-new yourself".
I make accessories which lead you to the new world with all my heart.
I make "Dream Catcher Earrings" and "Dream Suncatcher Earrings" which receive the inspiration from native American traditional lucky charm ”Dream Catcher” with my original.
Moreover, I was fascinated by the Guinean culture in West Africa,
so I adopt Guinean clothes for the making of work.
